PLEASE RESPECT THESE CLIENT GUIDELINES:

  • CANCELLATION POLICY

  • We require a minimum 24 hours notice for changing or cancelling any appointment. For appointments not canceled within 24 hours or no-shows there will be a charge of full price for the service scheduled. There will be no charge for appointments cancelled due to acts of God, (see cancellation policy below) or if we must cancel due to emergency or illness, and therefore will be rescheduled in as timely a fashion possible.

  • MISCONDUCT POLICY

  • Any misconduct by a client will result in immediate termination of service and full payment will be retained by Total Harmony Integrated Wellness.

  • LATE ARRIVAL TO AN APPOINTMENT

  • If you arrive late for your appointment we can only provide service for the remaining time scheduled.

  • DO NOT ARRIVE SICK

  • Please do not arrive sick to your appointment, pre-paid program clients get 1 free miss, we can also work online if this is the case.

  • NO ELECTRONICS DURING APPOINTMENT

  • Please turn off all electronic communication devices, as this can be very distracting for your time to heal.

Payment & Cancellation Policies

DISCLAIMER:

Therapies and exercise-based activities offered by Total Harmony Integrated Wellness are provided by Dr. Maureen Hughes, PhD, LMT, serving also as a Steward of the Church of Total Harmony. These services should not replace medical doctor visits for serious conditions. We strongly recommend informing your physician before beginning treatment.

Dr. Hughes reserves the right to refuse treatment for:- Contagious illnesses or recent vaccinations.- Severe contusions, fractured bones, or conditions requiring emergency medical attention.- Inappropriate behavior, harassment, or sexual advances (enforced at sole discretion without refund).

If a significant injury occurs after pre-paying, your credit remains valid for six months or may be transferred to another individual. Otherwise, no refunds are issued.

Payment Terms

  • Timing: Payment is expected prior to or at the time of service.
  • Methods: Cash (discount applied), PayPal, Venmo, CashApp, Zelle, or Credit Card (4% surcharge).
  • Installments: Available with a 15% interest charge. All balances must be paid by the end of the third session.
  • Prepayment: Required once individualized arrangements are set.

    Cancellation & Late Policy
  • Introductory Sessions: You will be charged the full session rate for no-shows, arriving more than 15 minutes late without notice, or canceling within 24 hours.
  • 36-Hour Rule: If you notify us of insufficient funds after the 36-hour confirmation window, prepayment will be required for all future bookings.
  • Program Sessions: If a participant misses an appointment without explanation, the session is forfeited.
  • Credit Expiration: Paid programs must be used within six months. If you move or cannot attend, you must notify Dr. Maureen Hughes, or you may gift or sell your credit to another person.
  • Notifications: Appointment reminders are automated. Please ensure your email filters allow these to reach your primary inbox.

Guest Etiquette

  • First Visit: Please bring the completed, printed original copy of your intake forms so we can begin work immediately.
  • Arrival: For subsequent appointments, please arrive at your scheduled time (not early). This is especially important for the S. Broadway location since it is a single room.
  • Communication: Pressure and room temperature are adjusted for your specific needs. You may choose to speak or remain silent; Dr. Hughes will speak when spoken to or as the session prompts.

Acceptable Reasons for Late Cancellation

Standard cancellations require 24 hours' notice. Fees are waived only for:

1. Medical Emergencies: Contagious illness, hospitalization, or severe child/family emergencies. (Note: Reschedule if you have received Botox/injections within 36 hours.)

2. Accidents: Car collisions or hazardous Missouri weather (ice, flooding, etc.).

3. Crisis: Death of a loved one (including pets) or critical home emergencies (e.g., burst pipes).

Work Emergencies: Unexpected work conflicts are not recognized as valid reasons for late cancellation and are subject to the full session fee.

My mission is to help people find their inner Self by loving the skin that they are in.

I help people to gain body confidence, flexibility, motivation, strength, and stamina.

I help folks who want to be active but they realize that, whatever their age, things might swiftly deteriorate. They explore and push limits. They seek health and body confidence. They prioritize peace and tranquility.

I won't work with closed-minded know-it-alls or creepy people.

My clients often fear they are aging rapidly and it is "now or never." They often dislike their bodies in the mirror and want to change ... they just don't know how. They want to relieve their pain but don't want to use medicine.

If they don't act, they'll usually need painkillers, surgery, or a wheelchair just to survive. They'll keep numbing themselves and avoiding change.

I can give my clients peace of mind by addressing their physical and emotional condition. They become stronger and motivated. They quit medicating themselves.

I know I'm helping people when they start to smile more. Like, a real smile, rather than that mask they put on.
